About the Role:
The Mobile Market Manager will generate profitable revenue by managing sales of mobile services. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales, with regular interface with the service, sales and engineering teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for mobile rental sales through finding new leads, and reviewing leads from the capital sales team.
- Determine costs for renting mobile systems and customer pricing structure. Assist sales with proposals.
- Review pricing and prepare proposals for mobile rentals.
- Responsible for meeting mobile business sales goals and profitability objectives.
- Determine best market opportunities for mobile assets and direct business in selecting type of mobile equipment to build.
- Determine service needs for mobile rentals.
- Coordinate deployment of mobile rentals and oversee successful performance and profitability during rental period.
- Perform sales, administrative tasks, and procedures under self-direction.
- Outline, present and sell the value of how our products and services can benefit the customer’s needs.
- Ensure profitability of projects through proper pricing and contract management.
- Compose letters and proposals to customers that are clear and concise.
- Effectively manage time and budget or expense parameters.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree related to engineering and/or environmental concerns
- 5+ years of relevant experience in selling/supporting municipal & industrial membrane, filtration and related equipment
- Vast knowledge of water processes
- Have a proven track record and an aptitude to succeed in a technical and relationship driven business.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Must be willing to work independently and be a self-starter
- Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel throughout North America
- Able to read PFD’s, water balances and P&ID’s
- Able to prepare cost estimates and write technical proposals.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
- Frequently required to sit and use dexterity.
- Occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
